My Pepeha & Mihi

Kia Ora, In Te Ngahere we have been learning our pepeha. We were also learning a simple mihi to go with our pepeha. For our pepeha we had to say our maunga, awa, waka, iwi, hapu, marae, surname, school, your family, where your from and your name. We were learning our mihi and pepeha to welcome our new students and if we need to say something on the marae we will know what to say. I enjoyed this because I now know my mihi and pepeha of by heart. The only thing I struggled with was saying my iwi before my hapu. Do you know your mihi or Pepeha?
