Procedure Text

In Te Maunga we have been creating lots of procedures that are based on different topics like writing, Reading and lots more other topics. We learnt how to set out our procedure and it is pretty easy once you make more & more. Once we did our 1st procedure we thought it was hard but it actually was easy. Mrs Pou was teaching us some workshops for our procedures. When Mrs Pou was doing our workshops it makes more sense to us and we got the hang of it. When you have someone to help you it is actually really helpful and it makes the job more easier. I think next time I will have to work on evidencing my procedures. I enjoyed writing our procedures and Mrs Pou helping us so it makes more sense and so it is more interesting. When you know what to do it really is much more easier. I really liked writing our procedures and I also liked that most of us were helping each other.

Maths Goals

In Te Maunga we created a google drawing & put our math goals on it. Once we have achieved our goals we picked some that we haven't achieved from Term 2. Sometimes we go on Xtramath. Xtramath is a site that we do maths on. We have stages on Xtramath & the stages are Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication & Division. When we finish Division we are DONE!!!!

The WALT is to choose our own goals.

Fitness

Paihia School have been doing 10 minute fitness each morning to keep our hearts beating faster. We are doing fitness to be more healthier every morning. Mrs Williams has kindly set up a fitness rotation for Paihia School. I liked Jump Jam the best because the moves were cool and that we all got to try our best. What I found Challenging was Jump Jam when we had to try to keep up with the actions.

Angela's Rocky Shore

In week 2 we made a google drawing about rocky shore with Te Tahuna and Te Moana. We were comparing the Paihia rocky shore and comparing a photo online to see what it is actually supposed to look like. Te Maunga, Te Tahuna and Te Moana we all went down to the Paihia bluff. We had these rocky shore guide books a pen and we were in a group of three. The sea creatures that we found we had to tick off on our rocky shore guide. What I can do better is pick up rubbish, leave shellfish alone and look with your eyes not your hands.

Angela's Maths Goals term 2

At the beginning of term 2 we made our own maths goals. In term 1 we made our math goals. We also had a maths peice of paper called a I C A N sheet to write down what we know and don't know so Mrs Pou knows and she can teach us. In term 1 on our I C A N sheets we had to highlight the ones we don't know. In class for maths we also do some evidencing. First we go to Mrs Pou’s math workshop and she calls the people who put their name down to learn something in term 1 on our I C A N sheet. We made a google drawing about our math goals. We got our I C A N sheets and the ones that were highlighted those were the ones that we need to learn and put on our google drawing for our math goals. Our W.A.L.T was we are learning to Identify our learning needs.
