Critter Alliteration

Today we had a opportunity to add our voice using screencastify to our google slide. Our title was called Amazing Alphabetical Alliteration makes Real Relationships Rule. We can also do it on google docs but most people do it on google slides and I think it's better to do it on google slides.

Cross Country Goals

Hi my name is Angela Roberts and I live in Haruru Falls, Hawke Drive. I.A.L.T pace myself and complete the race. How: I have to practice in extra time at home and school in extra time and on many grounds. Reflection: as i came 8th last year I want to improve and come 1st, 2nd,3rd, 4th or 5th. My Goals for cross country.

How we did green screen: We went on the field with Mrs G. Mrs G told us to try pretend were running and then we actually ran. We had to run around our goal post on the field. Then after that we went back to our classroom and Mrs G took a group that Mrs Neumann did earlier.

Then it was finally my groups turn and It was my turn and I presented my speech about Cross Country Goals And someone took the video in our class. Nikara and Mrs G was helping the person in our class that was taking a video of me doing my speech.   Next we all finished and went to Te awa's assembly. It was Amazing and it was so so so so so cool and fun.

Running is among the best aerobic exercises for physical conditioning of your heart and lungs. ... Just as importantrunning--like many forms of exercise -- is a great cure for stress, emotional strain, even mild depression. You'll likely find yourself with fewer headaches and more energy, patience, humor and creativity.

Alliteration Critters

W.A.L.T. write an alliteration describing a relationship between two creatures. We used a shared Google Doc to write our alliteration. In a shared Google Slide we had to add a background then inserted png images of the critters.

Fractions wall

Nikara and I are learning to make a fractions wall. First we had to cut twelve pieces of paper the same length.  First we glued one whole strip, then we folded another strip in 1/2 before cutting it in half and gluing it on our wall. We repeated this process in 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7, 1/8, 1/9, 1/10, 1/12ths. We saw patterns when we cut 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and 1/12. We saw another pattern when we cut 1/3, 1/6 and  1/9.  We saw another pattern with 1/5 and 1/10. Nikara and I found it hard to get the same strip length and to get the papers to fit on the paper.

Rugby Win for the Tigers!

         My brother’s Tigers Rugby Game

On Sunday my mum, dad, sister, my moko and I were going to Whangarei to go to my brothers tigers game. Then we got to the game and saw heaps of people there. It was like a jungle of animals.

My mum and my dad were shouting,”Go, go tigers!” They were clapping and shouting. After a few more minutes the game finished. We were all happy because the tigers won. We were as happy as a elephant and a monkey.

Then everyone was leaving after the tigers beat the other team. We saw my nanny and papa there. They had to leave almost straight after the game because they had to go somewhere important. We got to say hi and bye.

My sister, my moko, dad and I got an ice-cream. Then we went to my brother and his girlfriend to drop of my brother and his girlfriend's son.

While we were dropping of my moko and we saw my nanty and grandad. They came up to drop of some chicken for everyone. They took my Aunty Mikaila back to Auckland with them.

We all left and my mum, dad, my sister and me were going to my aunty, uncle, Peter and Hannah and their daughter’s Aviah and Malita. We had some yummy strawberry and raspberry cheesecake. And we also had some chicken and some yummy  patties.

My sister and I were playing with my aunty and uncle’s daughters. My mum and dad were talking to my aunty and uncle well me and my sister were playing their daughters Aviah and Malita.

We stayed there for a few hours and then went home and went to sleep and we all lived happily ever after. Everyone enjoyed celebrating my brother’s rugby success.

I.A.L.T retell what I did in the weekend using speech marks, commas and the tab button.
