Going to the Ngahere

In Te Ngahere we have been going to the Ngahere (the bush/forest). We have been going every once in a while. We have been going to the Ngahere so we can get some ideas to make our classroom look like the Ngahere. Our classroom is called Te Ngahere this is why we are we are going to the Ngahere and gathering ideas, because right now it just looks like an ordinary classroom and we don't want that, we want it to look interesting, exciting and make it look like the Ngahere. We started getting ideas and making our own projects a couple of weeks ago. We then started to work on our class projects on Wednesday, the day after we went to the Ngahere. We have seen many things such as spider webs, Moss, Vines, Creeks and Much more. While we were walking in the Ngahere we have been writing down ideas and what materials we will need in our book. I enjoy going for bush walks and seeing different things and learning different things in the Ngahere. I have heard different types of birds and seen things I have never seen before. Its surprising what you hear and see in the Ngahere. I hope we get to go back later and maybe next time you could also go the Ngahere. Thanks for reading.
Ka Kite!
